70 Gallon Water Tank -- Bertram 31
This 70 gallon water tank was built as a "One Off" project for Marlin Younkers' B31.
The tank will fit into the center bilge below the cabin sole and has several distinct features:
The walls and bottom are cored with 1/4" H80 Divinycell.
The top is an inset design, done in 3/4" H80 Divinycell.
Interior is gelcoated and baffled into 4 compartments.
Both the fill and supply ports are PVC and heavily glassed into the tank. The 1 1/4" fill port is recessed for a lower profile.
The external body of the tank is reinforced with 1208 biaxle fiberglass. The underside of the top is reinforced with 1208 biaxle fiberglass. The resulting tank is exceptionally strong and is capable of being walked on without worry.
