This is the Main Index for the restoration of Dr. Gerry Santiago's Bertram 31 FBC

The majority of the work is to be done at Cabrera Custom Yachts in Miami, FL.

I will act as a consultant, conferring with Regino Cabrera & his staff to achieve the high quality restoration that Gerry demands.

Key elements of this project will include:

1. All secondary structures, including bulkheads, decks, cabinetry, etc., to be removed. All structural elements will be repaired, replaced, or otherwise modified as necessary

2. Engine Spaces Modified to Specification

3. Re-Powered with Yanmar 6LP 315HP Diesel Engines

4. Extensive use of the Cabrera Fiberglass Kits

5. Some Elements of my own Fiberglass Kits

6. Interior Spaces Modified to Specification

7. All exterior Aluminum Removed

8. Front window frames encassed in fiberglass

9. Side windows revels constructed in fiberglass
