The images on this page show the general condition of the boat as it arrived at my shop. Literally
everything will be stripped from the boat, leaving just the hull, cap, house, and flybridge.
Once stripped, the boat will then be transported to Rey Cabrera Sr. in Miami for restoration and customization.
Since the Bertram Manufacturing label glassed into the port V-berth had been previously removed,
there was very little indication as the actual vintage of this B31. However, in the initial tear
out, we did find a #41 hand written on the fiberglass under the head base liner. While this kind of
clue is not always a definitive piece of evidence, it is usually good enough to give a range of
between 2 & 3 hull numbers.
That being said, the likelihood is strong that this one is between Hull Number 39 & 44, making
the manufactured date around late August or early September, 1961.
