The following images show a partial progression of how the overhead in Patrick Hancock's B31 is being raised by 5", bringing the headroom to 80" over the finished floor. All of these images are in a smaller format & can be clicked on for a larger view in a new browser window.

This is the trim base marked out for trimming after scribing 1/2" from the main valence. The valence is the section that creates the elevation of the overhead. This unit holds the valence up against the overhead panels.

Here's the entire overhead roughed in: Altogether there are 10 separate panels that make up the overhead. All panels will be upholstered with foam backed vinyl.
