LLANO, Texas is located a little over 200 miles west by northwest of Houston, about 80 miles north by northwest of San Antonio, and about 65 miles northwest of Austin.

I grew up in Houston, Tx and had my first introduction to the Texas Hill Country at about age 10. After returning home from the Navy in 1965, the Hill Country became a frequent visiting area for me and was second in fondness only to Key West, FL.
The new shop, located 10 miles west of LLANO, was first discovered by me while making up a motorcycle ride itinerary on the Internet. That was in June of 2005 & by February of 2006 I had moved the Florida shop and began setting up here. Every morning & evening I stroll around the property in utter amazement that I really now live here... The LLANO River is a mere 300 yards north of my front door, and while not quite visible, I can hear it running. Setting up has been a tedious but rewarding task. I may not be truly settled in before the end of the year, but the essentials are in place and ready for production to resume. 03/17/06

To find 834 Scott Dr., west of Llano, TX:
There are two highways leading into the town of Llano; State Hwy 29 running east & west, north of the river and State Hwy 16 running north & south. State Hwy 71, from the south, intersects 16 just south of town.
Entering Llano from the south on TX 71, turn right onto TX 16. go approximately 1 mile to the intersection of Main Street, (this will be just before approaching the Llano Bridge). Make a left on Main Street.
From the east on 29, turn left on 16, crossing the river and turning right on Main St.
Main St. becomes Ranch Road 152. Follow RR 152 approximately 10 miles west to County Road 107.
Land marks along the way will be 6 Mile Creek, County Road 108, County Road 102, & Hickory Creek.
Turn right onto County Road 107. Within about 1/4 mile it will "T" into Scott Dr. Turn left and look for my street sign with the Harley silouette
