VESSEL DESCRIPTION
The BUDDY BOY is a 1973 31’ Bertram Flybridge Cruiser hull that has been totally rebuilt and highly customized to the
owner’s and Captain Patrick McCrary’s specifications. The 31’ Bertram has a history dating back to 1960 when the original
31’ Moppie was designed by Ray Hunt and manufactured by Richard Bertram as an ocean racer. Bertram 31’s were one of
the first large fiberglass productions boats manufactured in the United States and the deep V hull design revolutionized the
offshore power boat and sportfishing world. 31’ Bertrams have become highly sought after vessels throughout the world and
one of the few production vessels that have increased in value since production was stopped in 1985.
