Matt,
Use vinyl Fine Line tape only & pull while the paint is wet so that the paint edge lays down. Waiting for the paint to cure will result in a hard edge and the chance of chipping.
One trick I like to use is to double tape. Start by using 1/2" fine line tape then come back over it with standard blue painter's tape, leaving only about 1/16" of the fine line tape showing. That way when you pull the standard tape, most of the wet paint comes off with it. Then when you pull the fine line tape only a tiny amount of the wet paint remains.. You can use the same technique using pre-taped masking paper also.

be adviced , that the paint dries faster on your boat than on the tape.. I do not want to know why :)
Women are like boats ,the older they get , the more money and professional help they need to look beautiful.
