This film presents an unquestionable case for why overfishing needs to end and shows that there is still an opportunity for change. Through reform of the EU‘s Common Fisheries Policy, fisheries ministers and members of the European Parliament can end overfishing. But only if you pressure them.

I'm all for saving the fishes and knowing the experiences I have had will be there for my children.
I'm not sure that the Pew Charitable Trusts is my partner in that. In the northeast I believe they have funded an agenda which includes catch shares as a cornerstone for control. The catch shares policy is anathema to the history of fishermen - really fishing families I am familiar with. It is also perceived as a tremendous threat to recreational fishing.
