Re: costa rica
You planning the pacific side or caribbean side, cause the pacific side is better unless tarpon or snook is your thing.
Jaco beach is a good charter spot. Cant remember who we went with, been too long.
Great place to visit.

If you are going to Los Suenos, seek our Thumbs Up (Greg). He is on the board from time to time.
He might be able to help you out, he was involved in a Charter business down there.

Looks like I'm going the 17th -23rd of Feb. and staying at Los Suenos
Re: costa rica
George Beckwith runs this charter service out of Los Suenos and I had a great few days fishing with his crew 4 or 5 years ago. In addition, one of our party had to leave on an emergency basis (serious illness); George met us in the early hours and personally arranged transfer for the sick person to San Jose for flight back to U.S. Check them out: http://www.draginflycostarica.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Can't say much about the fishing, but the surf was good every day. Playa Negra below....March.
