It is "Again" because he has done this twice by slightly different routes.
In a crowded restaurant last night I happened to be seated at the next table from Dr. Ed Galkin and his lovely wife and somehow we got to talking. He told me of his accomplishments and I could hardly believe it!
He had also taken trips to Alaska from New Jersey and taken his family trans Atlantic hopping from the Maritimes to Greenland to Iceland.
A very interesting fellow! I'm still dumbfounded about a trans pacific leg he made to Hawaii..... All dead recconing until he could pick up a radio station at about 500 miles out for his ADF.
Keep your eyes open for Cessna N2160S at an airdrome near you!

Our long-time local coronor here flew his V Tail Bonanza solo around the world back in the 60s or 70s. The engine was just about run out and he had an oil drum and hand pump to keep the oil level up during long hauls - so many strokes on the pump per hour. I sold my 45 foot Hickock wooden cabin cruiser to him and he still has it in the same slip on the Tickfaw River...its now named the Moon River and the owner is Dr. Hypolite Landry.
