I was in Hawaii last couple of days. I thought I might come across a 31 and after walking around a bit I came across this beauty in the harbor:
Best looking boat in the whole marina IMHO.

LOL, I noticed the same thing! Looks like hatches...but for what? Live well?
Amazing how a 40 year old boat can still take your breath away. Sharp!

Jack-
If you like that boat, you'll love Bobby's boat. She's a beauty. Enjoy Hawaii.

Yes, a live well. I had the same setup on a previous 31. The well extends down almost to the bottom of the hull, and is perforated to allow fresh water while trolling or drifting. It had scoops to inject water at a greater rate than it could discharge while running. The hinges allow access to dip net the bait.

Bobby
Do you know anyone on the Island named Mitchell Latoff?
He has a 31 in Hawaii but lives here in the states.

Nice ride , must be a charther boat , or has a tall owner... notice the bumper on the roof ..
Strange that he only changed one of his aft bulkhead windows.....
And I wonder why he did not put the stainless strip on his rubrail...
Regards Eagle eye !!!

Looks like he only changed one window due to the life ring. Probably figured if he made the window larger, he had no place to hang the ring. He has the brackets for it screwed into the bulkhead.
