I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. - Abraham Lincoln
I wish strength and memories of happiness during the particularly difficult days of today and tomorrow, and the times to follow. Thinking of you both, and praying for you.

Mark,
I'm so sorry to hear the bad news, there are no words for that much pain and grief.
I pray that God will grant you and your family some much needed rest and comfort you during this time. You guys are in my prayers.

Thanks guys! It's been a long year almost and tougher than I ever dreamed.
On a some what humorous note, sort of, I had a shrink come through the receiving line at the funeral. I have known him for a while but not real good just because he is shirttail relative, sort of. He gave me one of these soft hugs and told me he had been observing me as he approached the family. He tilted his head and began analyzing me. Said I needed to stop comforting everyone and take the time to grieve for myself. I smiled and passed him to my sister but what I wanted to say was, "listen jackass I have been holding my family together for almost a year, joking and laughing with some of these folks is my way to grieve."
God bless the misguided putz.
Have a great Thanksgiving and remember to give your loved ones an extra long hug. They don't need to know why, just tell them you've grown to like em..............
