Question for the "Princes of Potions"

Post by Mitch »

Finally hauled the boat this week! Need a potion to clean the Cape Cod crud (mold) off the the zippers and stitches of my flybridge enclosure. I don't have the good thread and the bleach thing may be too strong. Thanks, Mitch

GM makes something that they use to clean the corvette convertible tops. Try the Chevy dealer.

I was told by a canvas guy that lysol spray works great [I never ttried it?]
what good is a boat if you cant spend all your money and time you dont have working on it.

roll off works. Its not for every day use but once a year it should be ok even for the standard thread.
Little tooth brush scrub let it sit (but not to dry) then plenty of water to rinse.
