Fiberglass exhaust pipe source?

Post by scot »

Any one have a source for a little piece of fiberglass exhaust pipe, I would hate to have to buy 4' (it ain't cheap and I am)

I need around 16" of 6" OD to glass into the transom for a thru hull.

Thanks,
Scot

Scot,
I shop at Bluewater Ship Stores. http://www.bluewatershipsstore.com/Engi ... ubing.aspx
The store where I shop here in Alabama will cut whatever length you want if they have it in stock. I particularly like this store because it is like shopping in the old time hardware stores. If you need one screw you can buy just one screw and not prepackaged overpriced hardware like some of the other stores. If there is not a store near you let me know and I will check with the Bluewater Ship Store near me or some of my marine service friends in my area.

Thank's Harry,

There is a Blue Water Ships Store in Kema, Tx. Just outside of Houston....and I go that direction frequently. I give them a call.

I know you said you need 6". I have about 6' of 4" if anyone needs it. It is left over from my repower. I would like to keep some as backup, but can help someone out in a pinch. Brand new, never used...

I have a 4' piece of brand new 6" fiberglass exhaust pipe. I'll send you as much as you need. It was left over from a previous project & has almost ended up in the dumpster a few times.
Let me know how you want it shipped & I'll get it on it's way.

Scot & Greg
Both packages have been sent out Fed-Ex Ground. Scot's 2' should be there by Friday & Greg's 3' should be there Wednesday. Don't worry about the shipping $.
