friday welcoming party

met with jeff {runs the marina] today and he offered the deck on top of the office/marina for a welcoming get together on friday ,depending on weather we also have the use of Aldo coffee building right next to the marina,which also has a nice outdoor seating area.I will provide a raw bar for this as well as some appetizers and some local greenport brew and wine ,mixed drinks are BYOB,anyone is free to add to the appetizers for this.I would like to have idea of how many people to expect for planning.

my son anthony has a father in law who is a huge collector of old advertisments. i ask him to go thru the thousands of files to see what he could come up with regarding bertram 31 literature. well low and behold he has the original race results ( 1961 )and all information leading to the relationship with richard bertram/ ray hunt and the first 31 bertram advertisments selling bertram 31 to public . walter will be attending the welcome party and will bring all literature concerning bertram 31. possibly the office at michelle park will have a copy machine for those that want to make scrap book of the beginning of our beloved bertram 31.

I believe that Bob Higgins has already counted for Jo Ann and I, but I too have a surprise.....my daughter will be along to PROTECT her old man from people like Minton and Lico...(just funning guys)

So I want for you to add another one for Angie.....btw she can eat her weight in SHRIMP! ! !

Does anyone know if the THUDDSTER will make it this year......he sure has been quiet lately....

ALL STUFF ,DRINKS ,APPETIZERS ,WHATEVER ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO ADD WOULD BE GREAT,THERE SHOULD BE APPROX 70 OR MORE FOLKS AS FAR AS I CAN FIGURE,THE TENT SHOULD BE UP ALSO OR WE CAN USE THE UPPER DECK OF THE MARINA OR ALDOS COFFEE SHOP NEXT TO THE MARINA.WE WILL HAVE IT SET UP AT ONE OF THE PLACES .I HAVE THE RAW BAR SET AND SOME LOCAL WINES AND BEER AND SOME APPETIZERS ,LOOKING FORWARD TO A GREAT WEEKEND,TOM HART
