thanks all..(especially harv for starting the thread)..in honor of my birthday i docked the boat with no engines. nailed it the first time in the wrong slip (they all empty in a row). pull out... port dies wont restart...tide and wind too strong to overcome with one , so screw it....just let it drift into the pilings...not like i could hit another boat...and muscled her into the correct slip. hope next season goes better.

its been an interesting birthday. besides the good wishes of friends and family i've also been fortunate to get messages from people all over the world.....some of whom i consider real friends....even though we have never met face to face. its the modern world.
hope we get to meet up in real life sometime. if history is any indication....the odds are good.

Happy birthday Randall!!! and that sound's like some fine boat handling to get into a slip with neither engine hittin a-lick. I hope I can do that when I am as old as you are!!!!

she'll float one of these days.. no really it will :-0
thanks ...but not really. just let the wind blow it into the pilings abeam and then muscle it in. the only claim to fame was that i was alone. later in the day one of my friends asked what the hell i was doing. my slips on the main road and apparently a few folks caught this comedy act.
Happy 'B'day, I couldn't help but notice that your b-day was 11-4, that my youngest daughter as well. I'm glad to know she shares the date with you, she's 8yrs old. I can't help but think that 11-4 must be the B-day for artists or at least those who are a piece of work, as most 8yr old girls are ;)
