I heard the calls from CG sector Baltimore. I was out fishing about 20 miles south. I could only hear the CG side of the discussion but the guy reported on the rocks with one injury. At some point the CG was saying ... there are CG assets in route and to stand by.... Strange, because it sounded as if the captain was saying "its under control" almost like the CG was saying stay in the area so we can get a report!
From those pictures, I don't think he was going anywhere fast! I'm guessing that after the tow boat arrived and took people off the boat this guy didn't want any more CG attention.

We have a place called Swan Point on the N. end of the Barnegat Bay. A couple of boats every year either on AP or grog just stay straight instead of following the ICW markers and run their boat high and dry. We are not talking runabouts, but big sportfish boats. The good news is the ground is not a rock pile; but soft marsh. No hull damage usually.
