Did you change oil and filters in gear boxes?
Which side did you put the redone gear on?
Remember that was on the stb side. If it is now the port the gear wear will be opposite than what it has been and you might hear a whine on both gears.
I got filters from ZF in Melborne and yes their changed. The rebuilt one ended up un thr port side and they have been test run & ready to go. This was an amazing amount of work, not a day off ion 6 weeks but it's comming together well.

I asked him what yard he uses since the yacht center became privatized.
He said none and talked about giving up repowers that he was tired of doing it.
