Couple of pictures of the rear deck area, where I started, and where I am at today. Many thanks to all of you for showing me how to do it the right way.

Really nice neat clean job. Looks more than strong enough for the new deck.
It is really exciting to me to see these projects when they come really far along like this.
It pains me to look and remember.
Very nice work.
Keep the pix coming.

My back hurts just lookin at it. I guess you could call it a "frame off" restoration. Everything looks good, good luck.

That sounds like the voice of experience talking ! ! ! What really got me when I was cleaning and grinding was walking on the angled hull bottom.....just killed my ankles......then compound the problem with fiberglass dust made the hull slicker that greased lightening.......but it did not matter much because I was HAVING FUN! ! ! !
Harry, you are one sick Puppy.
Seem to be a lot of that around, eh, good company.

Harry, I blasted the hull with a corn media, got it clean as a whistle, alot less aggressive than sand, minimal grinding on the inside, Matt...The I beam is a fiberglass unit I got from McNichols, they make a variety of shapes but you must buy twenty footers. If you need the number I can get it for you.
