Saw this picture on a Blog of Ike damage.

She survived well just needs water under her. I hear they sometimes push boat out of the way with payloaders!!!

Name on the boat is "Tranquility" and it looks suspiciously like Rob Cromie's B31... Since it's not blocking trafic, hopefully noone will will bull doze it.

You're right & I think that's the name of Rob's boat... At least it looks to be in pretty good condition from the port side & transom. Running gear will probably be toast, but if the boat settled gently as the water recieded, maybe not too bad.

Hopefully someone will use common sense if it is not damaged. I bet a trailer and a Crane or maybe some 6x6's and jacks and that can be moved in about an hour. Hate to see her ruined.

That's not a bow reg # - it's the name. Don't think it's Cuba, picture taken from modern car and in the background of the stern shot is a parking deck.

Actually, suprised she is the only boat there. I figured where there is one there would be 10 all piled up on each other. This one must of had a fun trip on its own.

Not the Sarita, thank the fishing gods! That is University Texas Med Branch in Galveston. Four or Five hundred yds South, of Gal Yacht Basin, where Sarita use to be, I bet that boat was on the hard and floated there. Still not letting most people on the island, hope the owner gets to her first!!! The dry stack and bait camp burned to the ground 12 or so hours before Ike even hit? They say the GYB might not open for a year, but that is just rumor so? As Brian said, Sarita is safe (for now) in Port A.
