Pirates cove FI

Went for a ride today to Fisher's Island and Noank, CT. What a perfect day for being on the water!!

Is there anybody here that can tell me about the B31's in Pirates Cove?

We saw Venture III (on the hard), Mischief, Mystic Fisle (B-25), Hunny Pot (B-28), and 2 other B-31s. One had glassed over windows with green bottom paint and the other had a blue hull. All in a small cove on Fisher's. Is Double Bogey still at the FI Yacht Club??

There have always been at least 3 down there in West Harbor. Families use them for fishing and also to go back and forth to the mainland. I was there last week and I think there were 5 in the harbor including the one blocked up at Pirates Cove.

Pretty amazing to find that many in a little harbor like West Harbor considering there were only 1800 built.

My wife and I spent some time there a year or 2 ago. Got to see Opus One. That's a refit 31 from Worton's Creek. Beautiful boat.
