I just finished creating a hi-res image of the B31. Copied it off of the best diagram I had. About to start a project managing the overhaul of several B31's and developed this so the client could play with color combos and such. Email me at jprs51@yahoo.com if you would like a high resolution copy of it.
So, does that mean if I get the .dxf file, I can turn it into 3D, and then throw a chunk of aluminum in one of the VKC's and have a smokin' new mini B31?
Dug, if you have a cool little machine like that, why don't you throw a pic of a bow chock in it? then we could all have cute little bow chock copies.....
The price of running the Bow Chock from a solid block of 316 SS with a small enough stepover to provide an even adequate appearance would be mindboggling pricewise. Even then you would have a huge polishing cost on top to boot. Casting was and is the wise choice. Now in alum that would be another story.
