Is this a B35?

Post by ktm_2000 »

Hi All,

I was driving through New Bedford around new years and it was foggy and I was taking some pics of the fishing fleet. I noticed the sunken vessel north of Popes Island and framed a couple of shots.

you can zoom in quite a bit to get a closer look, what do you think?

I'm pretty sure that its not a B35. Maybe an Egg?

Neil the Sport Fisherman in the front is obviously a topaz but I don't think the sunken one is. I searched through pics of Topaz boats in the mid 30' range and don't see anything that looks like the sunken boat.

In looking at John F's suggestion of it being an Egg Harbor, the late 70s Egg Harbor 33' looks like a good candidate. The pic below has the black slash and a section of the flybridge roof which looks dark.

She almost looks like she has no aft bulkhead, almost like the cabin is open. Could just be the shadows, but I don't think the windows look right for a 35.
