I'm still on the fence if I'm going to install a generator in my B31 but I'm pricing several of them. If I'm ever going to install one now is the time.
I'm pricing the Phasor K3-6.5kw generator. What others do you suggest?
The only items that I'd run off the generator is an AC, portable induction cooktop and maybe a small fridge/freezer.

Re: Generators?
I have a Mase 3.5 that was installed in 2002. I have A/C and a refrigerator, and a few other smaller items . Have excess wattage that i could use for other items as this is a 3KW generator.
have been happy with the unit. It is installed in a noise reduction cabinet as a single cylinder genset can be noisy as they turn 3600rpm. It is installed on the outboard side of the starboard engine. Not much space but Mase fits.

I know you’re looking to have a built-in generator and I wish I did.
I have a 2000 W portable this is what I run off of it just to give you an idea.
These things are on all the time. Refrigerator freezer and freezer. Battery charger. Small fan.
I have a microwave, portable induction stove and a small hot water heater.
When I run any of the last three the generator revs up high I have to use one at a time.
You might not need as much power as you think good luck

Re: Generators?
Forget the Mase, they are not really supported in the US anymore.
Re: Generators?
Everything except AC can be supported without any generator, only with solar panels and a 5 kg bottle of propane, the latter for instant hot water and royal cooking. Are there any laws against propane in the US?

Re: Generators?
When discussing gen sets covering Air Con, the btu capacity of the ac unit makes a difference.
I've seen 5kbtu units on 31's up to 16kbtu.
16 is the biggest you'll find in 110vac.
