John

Have not seen him on here in a while. Try sending him a PM. Search for his name and it should pop up.

For the friends of Scott Traenkler looking for his whereabouts, I bring the sad news that Scott passed away last Friday in Punta Gorda Florida. My condolences to Scott’s friends and family. I have been watching his dog Tater Tot and his boat. You may PM me if you wish.

I’m so sorry to hear this news of Scott.
He, though I never met him was a regular here on the site and will be missed. I remember he bought my Alex Witaker fuel tank when I was parting out all the “goodies” from my 31.
My condolences to his family.

Very sorry to hear. I used to see him every summer when he would run the Bertram over to the Vineyard. I just spoke to his brother in law and apparently he was in Punta Gordy building a house with a dock.. RIP Scott.

I always liked Scott's posts and was pleased for the success he had with the gas repowering.

This is terrible news... Scott my friend, fair winds.

I hope this message can get to his family. I know he has two daughters who were the center of his world. They were my first thought. Scott was a terrific guy with a fantastic sense of humor. He told one of my favorite stories here at one time, about his boat being trailered and his bilge pump coming on at just the right time to teach an impatient driver a lesson. I told it this past weekend as a matter of fact and laughed again.

Scott, thanks for your friendship. You are gone way too soon.

Dug:

I am friendly with Scott’s sister on the Vineyard and will pass along all of the condolences from this very thoughtful group of Bertram Brothers.
