Anyone out on South Shore of Long Island yesterday

Post by scenarioL113 »

Was there a super low tide yesterday. People were in the mud all over the place. I was white knuckled thru the Amity-Cut when some guy in a 40 plus foot boat decided to go thru and stay at idle speed half way thru a narrow cut.

A few of us decided to not come off plane. Made it thru OK but it was the lowest I can ever remember. It was low all over...just wondering if there was a celestial event with a moon tide or something. Or widespread shoaling on the south shore...

I was on the southside of the Cape Cod and doing some kayaking, the tide was extremely low.
