Half Mold

Post by Tony Meola »

Not sure if anyone has seen Tom Oakes post in the sell section about the half mold.

The group purchased the mold a c couple of years ago, and we did have some hulls made.

The mold was given to Tom to make more,, but he is no longer at Holtz boat works and is looking to see if we are still interested in the mold.

Not sure what kind of shape it is in, but would hate to see it lost. So what does the group think?. Is anyone interested in becoming the keeper of the mold for future use? As long as this board remains active, there might be someone who might have an interest.

The issue is finding someone who can make the hull.

I have an original in the closet that needs some work and TLC. Another "Someday" project!
