I was wondering where any of you have installed coolant / oil psi alarm buzzers on your bridges?
I have cole-hershey units and there jus dont seem to be a good spot that is out of the weather so to speak. I obviously can put it inside the helm but was wondering if that would muffle the noise too much.

Re: Coolant Temp Alarm Location?
Thanks, those are cool tho. I actually mounted the cole-hershy units inside and behind the instrument cluster. They are pretty loud and can hear them just fine even tho they are buried.
I thought I took a picture but I guess I did not.
I had a SS louvered vent that I used to cover a hole next to my compass from something a previous owner did. 2 of the screws that mounts the vent I used to secure a mounting bracket under the dash. I mounted the 2 alarms to this bracket and the proximity to the vent worked out perfect. I did not have to drill any holes. Now I only have about 100 old holes I have to fill one day

I have an old school doorbell on mine up under the bridge that will wake the dead!
