I can't remember the name of the product, but it came in a small brown flattish container...no sprayer.
Any help?

Re: Rust stain remover
I have used ON & Off Hull cleaner. I have seen others use Toilet bowl cleaner and you can also try a product called lime away. I assume you are talking from Fiberglass.
For metal, such as tools I use Evaporust.

Ricky, sounds like Whink Rust Stain Remover (Hydrofluoric acid).

That's it Tommy, seems they've changed their packaging since I last bought it....thanks
Tony, On & Off is a great product also, haven't heard about Evaporust...I'll have to keep an eye out for that.

Davis FSR. Paint it on, let sit and wash it off. Evaporust works well to remove rust and does not attack nonferrous metals, unlike many other rust removers.

Re: Rust stain remover
For rust stains I have had good luck with Barkeeper’s Friend. I just tried it on the stains on the safety rail which runs along the side of my flying bridge. It’s considerably easier than replacing the end fittings even if I have to repeat the treatment every year.
