Calling B25 owners!

Post by CamB25 »

I may have asked this question in the past, but I can't find the thread...

I need to decide on the location of the midship cleats before I paint the cap Friday. Based on my old pictures, these are located somewhere aft of the max beam and forward of the fuel fills. Can someone give me a rough measurement from the transom corner to center of the cleat?

Thanks

Cam,

It seems that you've made a lot of progress on your boat since we've last talked.

I don't have an exact measurement but my boat didn't have mid-boat cleats when I bought it, I added a pair of pop-up cleats about 18-24" behind the main bulkhead.

Center of the mid-ship cheat to the aft end of the stern cap is 145", measure along the gunwale.

Thanks, Scot. That seems to be the spot. I sprayed the cap with 3 coats of Awlcraft 2000 - Oyster White today. It took every bit of a quart +mixers to do it. Lays out nice and shines pretty well. Highlights all the imperfections in my fabrication work, too! :-D
