Post by Bruce »

I've gotten back from Llano where it was difficult to sell off your friends lifetime possessions, but as we all know you can't take it with you.
Due to circumstances moulds are not available.

I've got some of Pats personal 31 stuff and other boat stuff we will auction off for board fund raisers. We are still figuring out passwords for reconfiguring the board and fixing issues. Pat had been sick for some time we discovered and didn't tell anyone.

I'm hoping to setup a non profit for donations for the board with extras being directed toward projects close to boating and fishing like Mikes involvement in Oyster Bay. Possibly with a name like the "Patrick McCrary memorial education fund." If you have suggestions, let me know.
Family is still getting paperwork straightened out with Pats quick passing.

Sorry Andre, I would have stopped by on the way back but I hit Baton Rouge at 2:30 am. Not a good time to ring a door bell.

The family is setting up plans to be at the NC Bertram gathering for a memorial service in 2017. Will keep everyone informed as it goes along.

Tommy, contact me when Lin has a date set for 17.

Thank you, Bruce, for everything that you have done for Patrick and his family. Every man should have the kind of friend that you and Patrick have been to one another. I will pass along the date of the 2017 NC Bertram Rendezvous as soon as it is nailed down.

Bruce, I can truly imagine that walking around there, even though you may have been there after Pat was gone, or close to it, was soul rocking. I can imagine his voice was following you everywhere with stories, and thoughts. You saw his methodology in every corner. Everything. I can imagine you gazed quietly on things I know you guys worked on together like the Jeep, remembering how absolutely wonderful a guy he was and hopefully you had a moment or three to just sit and think and remember. Bruce, I appreciate you, and what you have done for your and our friend. And there is no question he appreciates it too.

Bruce,
That couldn't have been an easy feat. I count myself blessed that Capt Pat crossed my life's path. You guys were friends for quite a long time and a friendship like that doesn't end. Thank you for keeping us posted. BH

Bruce,
Thanks for taking care of Capt. Patrick's stuff, I helped him try and sort through the stuff he had at the Riviera Beach Shop before he moved to Texas that was no small fete and it was a lot smaller pile. Give me a call when you get a chance. Thanks again for all you have done.
