Reflecting

Post by JimmyG »

A few weeks ago I was going to post a video of one of the best billftshing days I ever had but to my surprise I read Capt Pat's goodbye and thought in light of that it was inappropriate to post my video, On the ride out this past weekend (lady's day tournament-video soon) a 3 hour jaunt to the deep as I watched a passing thunderstorm offshore and witnessed a beautiful sunrise I thought to my self.....if it wasn't for Captain Pat and this sandbox I probably wouldn't have built one 31 Bertram let alone 2! So I celebrate his time on earth and the inspiration to take on two huge projects on and you will always be in my thoughts, every laugh, hoot and holler when we are hooked up you have a part in it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzV1JxWZfVk

Jimmy, if I were the current Bertram CEO I'd license the video and put it out with the title of "Imagine, if this is how much fun you can have on a 30 year old Bertram, how much fun could you have on a new Bertram"...

Outstanding, Jimmy; but you've got too many fat guys at the transom to be backing down so hard! Great job on the helm and glad you have good bilge pumps. The quality of your videos is second to none!

That's one bad boat and video. You need to turbocharge your bilge pump and plug your hawse pipes. Best fishing you tube I've seen and the 31's not bad either.

I just purchased 2 Nerf foot balls to stuff in the hauser ports, those big cupped four blades really suck me down, I wish I knew a way to fix the problem ....half tempted to make a small swim platform with a angle to it so i could get some lift

I find the GoPro software to be lees than desirable. Crashes all the time. Spend hours redoing. Only good for short videos.

iMovie is the software that came with the Mac... That's the "home" level video editing software... And when you Google "iMovie for Dummies" you'll find a ton of tutorials...

FinalCut Pro is a really a "pro" level video editing software suite... It's actually a commercial package and quite expensive... It can (and is) used for commercial TV and big screen production... It also offers a "plug in" architecture and you can add industry standard effects stuff like "Boris FX" to it... And when you Google "FinalCut Pro for Dummies" you'll find a ton of tutorials... And a ton of books have been written about it...
