Re: Boat ID
Bo:
I took a cursory look at Rosita, not in person. Here is what I found on the positive and negative side during my evaluation:
Positives:
- Significant rework of hull and cosmetics; windows, deck, tank, etc - one owner family boat, well cared for
- Relatively new engines - see negatives on this one
- A great base boat to work from if you aren't looking for a hard core fishing machine ( I wasn't)
Negatives:
- The 6.2 engines are small blocks and the 6.2's have a mixed record. The lack of weight can also be seen as she sits in the water. My understanding is this has impacts on ride quality but my bigger concern was the engines themselves.
- Great day boat but no hot water, radar or misc items I would have wanted.
- Bruce pointed out the bow cleat has been swapped out from the dual to a single. Not a big deal but some customization.
- She has been on the market for quite some time and has several price reductions.
If I were in the market, I would take a closer look on the boat. Nice unmolested vessel.
FWIW,
Mark
