Re: hynautic steering
Check Mcmaster Carr. They have lots of SS ball joint rod ends. They are also called "Heim" joints.

Theres a place in Fla you can send it and have it rebuilt. I sent my helm to the guy in OH before they sold out. I cant remember who it is someone will remember where.

Re: hynautic steering
I recently had to have my ram replaced. My mechanic did the work. My understanding is Hynautic was not producing these but they (or someone else) is once again producing Hynautic parts.
Viva la Presidente!
Re: hynautic steering
It is nothing more than a hydraulic cylinder. Any double acting cylinder of the same bore and stroke will work. Finding one made of marine grade materials is the hard part. Also any competent hydraulic shop should be able to rebuild it if it isn't too corroded.
Also any other marine steering manufacturer's double acting cylinder of the same bore and stroke should work in its place.

Perfect! I have ordered stuff from them at 6 pm and had it arrive at 11am the next day at standard ground UPS rates. I LOVE them!
