Hint 2: much smaller than a toilet seat (I'm flying from the boat in Fl up to NY... not packing toilet seats :-)

Hint 3: could be considered "bling" (yes, the factory stuck bling in our heads!)

If so I might be able to get free and shoot over from Sag Harbor on Sat in my 25 and bring him along if that's possible.

John ... Sag Harbor ?? Is your 25 on a mooring east of Havens (Tides) beach ?

Bertramp,

Yes that's me east of Havens Beach. "Retriever"
Got it in the water early this year compared to last year when my summer time on the boat was mostly working on it in the driveway.
So far this year everything works, but still doing cosmetics my wife insists on - like seats.

Pish posh..... seats......

Get a bucket. You can sit on it, pee in it, poop in it, puke in it, wash the deck with it, bail the boat with it, use it as a sea anchor, and 100 other things.

Launched with one seat and two buckets. Trying to improve from there.
Wife gets nervous when I open it up with nothing to hang onto.

Does anyone know if there will be any 25s at the Rendevous?

Looks like a great time. Lots of familiar faces. I would've like to have made it, but I need to be there next weekend to see my folks and couldn't do 2 in a row. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable ride home.

Great to meet you! For whatever reason I didn't put you, your boat and your screen name together. I hope the trip through the city was great!

One of these years I will make it. Maybe next year, as it looks like that due to my company moving south, I may be retiring sooner than I anticipated.

Good to hear a good time was had by all. Glad everyone is home safe.

I remember when I escorted a swim team around Manhattan and one of the swimmers swam in the same spot for his one hour shift, right around Hell's Gate. I had my engines in gear at 1500 rpm just to stay in the same spot as the swimmer.

Phoenix left sunday morning after many handshakes and see you next year comments.we went to Shelter Island and spent the rest of weekend enjoying the peaceful surrounding and BBQ fresh corn and scrimp . My son develop the one man crew with bungee cords to take down outriggers, antennas to go under railroad bridge on Shennencock canal ,all went well clear by 8" and had to drift under bridge. A disaster when i arrive home and called broker for sea trial somebody slip in with out survey, sea trial and at full price .this 37' Bertram is a project boat but my wife was looking forward to removing entire interior and redo.this broker does go by a handshake! I will look in to this act of deceit! Then again a NY used car dealer attitude is typical of NY broker. This is not sweet home Alabama where a hand shake is honor!
