Ethanol in South Florida
Steve, Thanks for the heads up! As of May 1, 2008, the fuel terminals in Port Everglades will be introducing a 10% ethanol-blended fuel product. After this date, conventional gasoline may not be available in South Florida... This will presumably include the FL Keys, lower SW FL, & maybe even the Bah...

Bill,
Depending on the size that Bertram installed in you boat, it will be either a 1/2" or 3/4" NPT. Probably 1/2"... You should be able to find a square head pipe plug in bronze at Boat USeless or Worst Marine, (maybe without a T handle). Ask for a garboard drain plug.

Patrick

Gif, As always, I don't like PE/Starboard... It can and has been used, but you won't find anything that will bond it to the hull and, because of the flexibility of the material, if the through hull unit is subjected to lateral force, (something trying to bend/break it over), the only support at the ...

Andy, You'll probably find yourself sticking around here more than elsewhere... The bridge/house top on the B25 is pretty whimpy, more so even than the B26, & the B31 could stand some reinforcement, at least the FBC. A gunnel mount for the main tube would be your best bet with 3/4" plywood backing &...

Jim, I'm not itimate with the details of the B28, but if an engine bilge can drain into the main bilge, other than by overflowing a dam, and end up at a bilge pump, it's an un-approved situation.
