Deck Hatches -- Making the Hatch Cover Plug and Mold

The following sequence of images show the plug and mold being built for the hatch cover of this particular hatch set. Again, the principle material for blocking out the mold is Medium Density Fiberboard, (MDF). I'll forgo a lot of the image steps in building both the plug and mold, & only show the intermedite process of molding the plug.
