Thumbs up for Holtz Boatworks

Just wanted to mention that Tom Oakes is doing remarkable work at holtz. We had some sandy damage and the project morphed into a new bow rail, riggers, helm chair and full paint job from the bridge down. Next year we paint the bridge, do something with the front windows and put the new dash on. Did the diesel repower about 10 years ago.
I'm sure I will figure out how to post some pictures, or I will ask Tom to post some.
Aside from the quality of the work, the most remarkable aspect of the project so far has been the on time performance. When Tom says it will be done by x, it gets done. That has not been typical in the 35+ years of maintenance on the old girl.
Hoping to hit some southern nj offshore grounds until they finish rebuilding our marina in atlantic highlands.

Good to hear, hope to have mine down to Holtz soon to have Sandy damage repaired and a few other things done.
