Advice please...

I really need your advice on a serious problem: I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs:
if the phone rings and I answer, the caller hangs up; she goes out with the
girls a lot. I try to stay awake to look out for her when she comes home
but I usually fall asleep. Anyway last night about midnight I hid in the
shed behind the boat. When she came home she got out of someone's car
buttoning her blouse, then she took her panties out of her purse and
slipped them on. It was at that moment crouched behind the boat that I
noticed a hairline crack in the outboard engine mounting bracket. Is that
something I can weld or do I need to replace the whole bracket?

For a modest sum I can weld that bracket and take care of the wife.

A "Hair Line Crack" is quite dangerous and can lead to unforseen problems.

The first order of business is to inspect the crack very closely.....if you have access to it......

After removing anything that may obstruct finding the end of the crack and assuming you have good access to it, a good course of action would be to drill it. This may help stop the crack from continuing to run.

Once you have stopped the Hair Line Crack from running may be you will not be up late at night worrying about it.

As far as the panties I would wonder if the automobile had been in an accident. There was a guy, a politician as I remember, that hit a bridge one time so hard that it knocked his girlfriends panties off, folded them and put them in the glove box. I would check the car for damage.

You have me worried, seek professional help and get to the bottom of the problem as quickly as possible. That crack may have stressed the other side as well. Should be magnafluxed at the least. Personally I'd change the Bracket.
