B-31 Sinking.

Post by jrhaszard »

October 16: from The Rappahannock Record. (Virginia) "A31 foot Bertram was sunk at the River Bend dock and could not be raised. The plan was to eturn the following day at low tide. The following day the boat was refloated. Rescue I towed the boat to Smith Point where Rescue III picked up the tow and took the boat to Lewisetta Marina.Total time on call,5.25 hours." Does anyone know anything about this incident? There was a nice looking gas powered 31 up that way this past summer being worked on.Don't know if it is the same one.

Rawliegh,I enjoyed seeing your nice boat and the super nice work you have done to her.Sorry I didn't get to meet Mike Kennedy.

I hadn't heard anything about it John!

I enjoyed seeing you and your friend as well. I hope you got some ideas of what to do (or just as importantly, not to do). Call me anytime.

John, Rawleigh did call me and discovered I was on the set of the Spielberg film for two weeks. Now there was an experience worth buying me a drink to hear about. He is the magic man, no doubt.

John,
The silver is for a mixed libation, the jar for straight.
Both perfectly acceptable in my hand.
Bring it on.
