There was a 31 FBC under similar conditions half buried in the sand on Peter Island in the BVI. It had a hole in the side that the feral pigs would walk in and out of, that was back in 1976, I wonder what ever happened to that one. There was another one in Belize that sank in 1500 feet of water between the Turniff Islands and Belize City, reported to have blown a turbo out the side of the hull, I don't know how true the story was but the crew boat captain told me about it while I was on my way to Turniff Island to do some flats fishing back in 1993.
