Uncle Vic, Happy Anniversary

Post by Mikey »

Forty-three years! Unbelievable. Miss Elaine moves to the head of the class.
I know I'm early but will be out of town this week and no computer, so . . .
All the best to the best.

Thanks guys...its been a helluva trip for 43 years....we decided to get married after we knew each other for a week, but I was in law school and she had a paying job.....

I do feel great and heading shortly to my main cancer doc to stun him with my massive weight gain since last checkup....Blue Bell ice cream...good ole country style, as the ad jingle says....two gallons a week by doctor's orders.

Congrats to you and Miss Elaine. You are fortunate to have a lifetime partner and one that enjoys the things that you do.

I wish you many more years together.

Congrats.

She let you buy a B31, hang out at the camp with Andre, and have 7 (or is it 8) UVI's!!!

Have not met her but she must be quite a woman.

Best of luck with your health. I need to get back to TSL to fish with you and the group when things for all of us improve.

Thanks again guys, its been a great ride.

Our son, Capt. Brent, dropped off a sack of super salty oysters last night on his way home from Venice. About as good as they get, perfect size, clean, etc. I been slurping them down as fast I can can open them. Screw you, FDA.

I'm getting ready to do a big ole Boston Butt stuffed with garlic on the BBQ pit for a day or so, and the Bride is making her famous cornbread dressing, which of course will be loaded with oysters lightly saute'd in butter, garlic, and olive oil, just till they curl. Will have our kids, spouses, 7 grandkids, and probably some hangers-on for Thanksgiving.

Thank all of y'all again for your good wishes, and particularly for your support when things looked pretty bleak......it meant an awful lot to both of us.

Congratulations Uncle Vic...

I am catching up with you.. we have been married for 40 years.

In the past 18 months I have by coincidence met the two main squeezes I had before meeting my wife.. and seen them in action with their husbands.

No question in my mind that I made the right decision.. I would hate to see where I would be today if I hadn't had my wife supporting me in some of the crazy things I have done!

The first forty are the hardest.. the rest is a coast downhill. Hang on, it should be a great ride!
