Next Gen 3.5

Anyone run the 3.5 and hear anything about water intrusion into cylinder or problems with low compression?

I have one. Couple hundred hours, not a hiccup.

Forgot to replace the oil cap after a change and made quite a mess.....

Otherwise great, but you NEED the sound enclosure.

Bruce-

Only have 20 hours on ours but no problems yet. Should we be concerned?

Water intrusion could come from a raw water scoop pick up instead of a strainer type on the thru hull? I have a Next Gen. 5.5 going in mine, Kubota engine.

I'm close to 1000 hrs on mine. I've had a few minor issues, but nothing major like that.
