Bilge Pump Installation

Post by Tony Meola »

I am going to install a third bilge pump between the engines right behind the cabin bulkhead and I was wondering what is the best material to use as a mounting base?

I really don't want to use plywood. I was wondering what everyone has used for a block.

Tony,

I cut a piece of fiberglass plate to match the diameter of the pump base and epoxy it to the hull.

Capt. Pat

Thanks. I have some fiberglass left over from the repower, I will cut a piece of that up and epoxy it down.
