This is my favourite shot. Not many people in the world would know what they are looking at here.

Tennessee is the only sport fish I've seen with a stand-up head. Talking to one of the old owners, for 30 years or so she had no head-smart.

Semi open bulkhead makes for the best of all worlds imho.

NIce. I like the way you scaled back the cabinets, put in a smaller sink and set it up with drawers and a microwave. Looks like you even have a refrigerator tucked in there agains the bulkhead to the stand up head. Looks like the best of both worlds. Tony Meola

It's just great to share this with people who appreciate it!

The interior was done by a former owner, a friend of mine called Chris Riordan, who is an artist. He, like me, has always loved the 31s.

The frames are chromed brass, easily removable with a cream colored see through screen on the inside.

The panel above the companionway is the electrical switch-board, it is fashioned on the old Sailor radio modules with the handles either end.

Caught our first fish on Friday on a trial run, got amongst a school of taylor that the dolphins were balling up. Threw 'em back and then more than twenty dolphins competed to see who could get closest to the bow.

We're still more serious about partying than fishing but we're getting there.

nic....i really love the rear bulkhead....i have a 25 sportfish and have fantasized about doing roughly the same thing...without the head....very original and well done

Now, before I get all teary, will someone please set me straight on those Molo Teasers! I googled them and you do not want to know where that all went.

We are fishing with a serious team the day after tomorrow, come on, your boat down under's reputation is at stake.

Brewster,

Touch wood we've been lucky. Patrolled marina, in view of a busy road and we don't keep much of value on board. We are pretty lite on equipment really and truck all the rods etc down when we fish so there are better targets.

I always hate to see the damage they do when they break into a boat, kicking companionways in, often costs more to fix than what they stole.

Hate to think about the mentality of people who would steal off a B31. What ever happened to honor amongst thieves?

I know of two sportfish models where a stand up head was installed in the foward part of the main cabin after removing the lower control station.

They perfered the full no bulkhead. one boat was in florida---it was redone at the E & H boatyard--in fact i think it was their personal boat. I think that boat is on yachtworld now.

The other was my friends boat on Long Island---Raybo did a lot of work on the boat, but do not know if they had a hand in this part.

speaking of raybo....thanks rob....mike brought the trailer to hampton bays at noon sunday and i had a fish on at 330....works like a charm
