doing electric work on 86 w 454's. curious about experience with installing inverter--costs, advisability. Also need side windowreplacement--who has best kits out there. more satisfying working on boat than offshore fishing so far
First thing to figure out is what you want to run off the inverter.
Once you get the load, you can pick the wattage inverter and wire size you'll need to run it.
You'll then be able to figure if the batteries you have will be able to handle the load draw and recovery properly.
