What is this through-hull fitting for?

Post by pschauss »

Any ideas what this fitting was for. It is located on the port side, aft of the rudder shelves. The scoop on the outside of the hull, shown in the second link, faces aft.

Not original is my 1st thought.

Next thought would be to bring salt water in for keeping bait alive.
