I came across this image from a couple summers ago in Desolation Sound, British Columbia. The dock is 130’ long and Amberjack’s stern is hanging a couple feet off the end. There were two people on the 80 footer and two of us on the Bertram 31. I think we were having more fun.

Now that is a classic picture. The couple on the 130 footer had more room to play cat and mouse.

I'd like to think you were having more fun too...

It is common for us to have people from larger boats walk by Amberjack at the dock and comment "if they had it to do all over again they would go our way". Big boat regret. Of course they're not sleeping on a Bertram 31.
The picture is a Seattle Yacht Club dock in British Columbia. It has become an issue for the club as the boats get larger and the docks don't. That dock would fit normally Amberjack and a couple more reasonably sized boats.
