Camber/crown on cockpit deck

Post by trace elements »

All,

With my deck rebuild coming along I wanted to ask, should I install a camber/crown in my new cockpit deck? I imagine none of the deck cits come with any crown? I am thinking a minor 2" over the entire beam which should just help stiffen it up slightly and help water roll off. What are your thoughts?

center section make dead flat and port and starboard sections taper about 1" from center section seam to belly band adjacent to hull sides water runs of then flows towards transom and then water is directed to sealed scupper box on inside of the hull to scupper on transom .works perfect!!!!
