BOX just cleared customs in Tokyo and I got to fire her up on the hard... the Chevy 454 Big Block burst into life first turn of the key.

I have to thanks Troy et al at Supreme Marine in Lauderdale for bring this engine back to life after it has sat for 4 or 5 years.

That sounds so sweet to my thawing ears. Summer is right around the corner. You will have some fun.
What outdrive is that, and how much power you recon that beast is putting through it?

Oooooh how nice !

I’m considerably lighter too, because I just returned from the Yanmar dealer where I bought all the service items (filters, oil, zincs etc) for my service due next week. Following the example of our...AmeriJap ! I’ll try to also post a video of my own sounds...

Oh yeah, the summer.. this year I’ll leave earlier, say late May/early June, this, IF all goes well will give me more than my set goal of 100 days at sea, we’ll see.

Congrats for your new, always red, mistress!

Chris if it is an LS7 as I'm told could be close to 500. The sterndrive is the original Volvo brand new in box 68.
